Worth the money, have some fun
TLDR: Worth $6, minor issues, great for small parties.
My friends and I played tried this game at a holiday party in lieu of a board game and got so many hours of screaming fun. The mirroring from the iPad Air 2 to Apple TV was near-seamless, the connection never dropped, and it was easily worth $6 (considering many board games eg Settlers of Catan can easily clear $30).
This is an indie game, so Im happy to support it with my money
Minor quibbles:
-some abstract words are hard to draw ("entrepreneurial spirit"?), but anyone who has played the real pictionary knows that this is true of all these games. Maybe a way to flag words that might be too challenging?
-agree with some other reviews: scrolling the full color palate is not 100% obvious. 2 rows would be nice? Not sure how it would look on iPad mini, but would be fine on iPad Air.
